Being so close to the freeway makes it easy to check out other beautiful areas within the Treasure Valley. There are plenty of activities all within a few miles radius in the Boise metro area. 

 

This park is designed for short and long term stays, close to everything happening in the area. It is not heavily shaded. More of a launch point for visitors exploring the city. The shower facilities, laundry room, and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Gowen Field Military RV Park - Boise

Caldwell Campground & RV Park is another great spot to checkout near Boise year round.

 

They have a beautiful location with a private fishing lake and nestled against the Boise River. The location is in vicinity of multiple golf courses and outdoor recreation. 

 

They are family and pet friendly, open year round. You can tent camp or park your RV Camper. 

Emmett RV Park and Campground

Emmett acts as a new bedroom community to the Boise area and greater Treasure Valley. Featuring a gorgeous mountain back drop, and meandering river that runs through town. Emmett is known for the beloved Cherry Festival every year. It also boasts easy access to fishing, hunting, and other outdoor recreation.

30 miles and about 45-50 Minutes from Boise. Located in Emmett, Idaho.

Coin Operated Showers

Very Limited Facility 

The Emmett RV Park is ran by the city of Emmett. It is a short term stay only with self pay, and first come first serve scheduling.

 

It is an affordable park only charging 25$ per day with a maximum stay of 10 days. The facilities are extremely basic, however the location in central Emmett is extremely convenient. 

 

Each spot does have full hookups, with WiFi available. Open year round, this is a very rudimentary RV Park that makes a good very short term stay location. 

Mountour Campground- Outside Emmett

About 50-65 minutes from Boise. Located outside Emmett, Idaho. 

Offering 16 individual first-come, first- served basis. 8$ per night. Tent camping on the lawn for 3$ per night. Stay limited to 14 days within 30 day period. 

RV hookups are NOT provided. 

Picnic tables available at each site. 

Dump Station 3$. Potable Water when amenities open May 19th-November 19th. 2 vault toilets. No amenities available after November 19th. 

Horesehoe pit, pedestal BBQ’s, fire rings. 

Montour Campground is a 6-acre site approximately 9.2 miles upstream of Black Canyon Dam located in the Montour Wildlife Management Area per the website. 

 

It is NOT open year-round with amenities only available May 19th- November 19th. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. This is a very simple campground with a beautiful mountain backdrop in the great outdoors of Idaho.
